The Role

• Design and develop advanced applications for the Android Application Framework that will be used by millions of users around the world.
• Make architecture and UX decisions with confidence, based on your skills, experience, and research.
• Promote your app to business users around the world to increase adoption.
• You will pioneer best practices, testing, and coding standards for a growing business.
• Support the use of the application on a large scale.

Mandatory criteria

• Permanent resident of Canada or citizen with at least 10 years of comparable experience in the Canadian market. Currently located in Montreal, Quebec will be preferred, but we are open to evaluating Canada-based remote candidates based on their qualifications and availability to spend material time in Montreal.
• 5+ years of Android development experience.
• Have published one or more Android applications.
• Experience with third party libraries and APIs.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Unit/instrumented testing experience
• Experience with Kotlin, Rx, Dependency injection, and Android architecture components.
